“The American people don’t want a combative, adversarial candidate and that is what you have with Donald Trump.”

Video Transcript

“Hi, my name is Greg. I live in Florida. I voted for Donald Trump in 2016 and 2020, but I can’t see how Donald Trump can get elected in 2024, so I will not be voting for Donald Trump in 2024.

“No matter what Donald Trump says or does, the media, which is really armed with so much information against him, because of all the baggage that comes along with Donald Trump as a candidate, is going to destroy this guy as they did in 2020.

“It’s gonna be the same thing all over again. I think the overriding desire or need for the Republican party, it has to be getting rid of this incompetent administration that we have in Washington now.

“If you’re someone who’s considering voting for Donald Trump, I think you have to be honest with yourself and ask yourself based on how this person behaves, the baggage which he brings into this election, is he potentially electable? And I would tell you, as I have thought this through very long and hard, and again, I voted for the guy twice, he’s not electable. He’s not someone that is going to galvanize the undecided voters to back him. I think what you might find is they really don’t like what they have on the left, but they really don’t like Donald Trump, and so you’re not gonna vote at all.

“The American people don’t want a combative, adversarial candidate, and that’s what you have with Donald Trump.

“And I think at the end of four years, if somehow Donald Trump were to get elected, we’re gonna be back where we were with a whole alienated block of voters who just aren’t willing to consider the Republican candidate because they now consider every other Republican candidate to be kind of a “little Donald Trump.””
