“What I liked most about President Trump at the beginning of his presidency was that he was willing to build a strategic plan that returned much of our domestic purchasing power, our domestic production. The things that had been outsourced overseas, he wanted to return.
“So, the reason I’m reluctant to promote President Trump in the primary is that I believe that he’s too much of a lightning rod. He needs to just stick to the policies and the strategic plan, stop engaging with some of the childish back and forth banter and just get the job done.
“I’m looking for a candidate who will implement many of what the policies President Trump put forward, the tactics that he put forward, but do it with atmosphere of statesmanship that is productive and positive.
“I’m not gonna vote for him in the primary as long as there are other candidates.”
