“My name is Mike Guillot, I live in central Alabama, and I did vote for Donald Trump twice, once in 2016, again in 2020.

“There are lots of reasons why Donald Trump should not be the 2024 nominee, and I would put at the top of the list is his performance when he was the President of the United States, right?

“We give him a lot of credit for some of the things, and some of those things were reasonable, right? But he brought so much controversy within the country is that he fed into the division and the divisiveness that we see today. He, in essence, he created it in a sense.

“If the American voter wants to get our country back on track, we need somebody that’s willing to govern from the middle.

“We need, we don’t need someone that is so controversial that he makes even the right conservative part of the Republican Party look liberal, right? We need someone who is able to bring people together. We need someone of character, a person of character, a leader that is not in it solely for themselves.

“There will always be a hardcore, but his electability with the electorate writ large is not going to happen. He has a huge electability problem. God knows we’ve got enough problems in the In our country, and we don’t need more divisiveness, but we would certainly get with another attempt at nominating a Donald Trump for president in 24.

“Let’s just say no to that kind of choice.”
