“My name is Wes. I’m from South Carolina. And I voted for Trump last two elections, 2016 and 2020.

“I voted for Trump in those elections because his idea of making America great again kind of resonated. I didn’t really know much about him, but the policies he stated resonated and I felt like that was the direction that America needed to go.

“I still believed in what he was saying as far as his general ideas and policies, but I was becoming a bit frustrated with his demeanor and the way that he conducted himself in the office. I do think in this upcoming election, Trump has an electability problem because of the amount of baggage that has been connected to him.

“I do realize and believe that some of it is not necessarily his fault, that it’s accusations and things that have come to light, but learned a long time ago that where there’s accusations, there has to be at least a basis for them to make accusations.

“While the person’s policies may be okay, people are gonna look at that and they’re not gonna be able to move past that to elect him again.

“My preference, out of all that I know that are running right now, would be Ron DeSantis. I’ve watched him legislate and guide the state of Florida.

“He doesn’t pull back or withhold anything, but he treats people with respect while he’s dealing with them, generally is what I’ve seen from the bit of time I’ve seen him in the media.

“I think it’s time to move on for Mr. Trump because, again, of the baggage and of the past.

“We need a uniting force as a leader, but one that will still take a stand for what’s right, I don’t think we’ll have that in, would have that in Mr. Trump. I think that divisions would get larger. And I don’t think, again with the lack of plan moving forward, I don’t know that his leadership would be any more effective than the current administration.”
