“Having Republicans back in the White House is far more important than getting retribution for all that has happened to Donald Trump.”
“I’m Fran, I’m from upstate New York, I voted for Donald Trump in 2016 and in 2020.
“If Donald Trump is the nominee, he’ll lose.
“He’ll lose because the media has done such a good job of tearing him down.
“They’ve done such a great job of making so many people believe that he is that racist, that horrible dictator-style guy.
“He doesn’t have a chance of winning, and there are lots of people that know that those stories are just stories, but there are lots of people just as much as are sure that they’re stories are confirmed believers that that’s the truth, that that nonsense is the absolute truth.
“And they will vote against Donald Trump more than they will vote for a candidate, and we need those people, those people that don’t like where we’re going now. We need those people to vote for Donald Trump but they never will.
“I want a candidate that can get their message across in such a way that they don’t come across as a racist or a narcissist or a dictator.
“I want a candidate that can explain to the American people why their ideas are good and in a manner that they can understand that those policies are good.
“Now, I don’t think Donald Trump can do that.
“If we had a candidate other than Donald Trump that had his policies and beliefs, that could get up and eloquently get their message to the American people, then we’d have a winning candidate.
“Donald Trump was a great president. He really was.
“But we need somebody, again, who’s not as contentious and hostile as Donald Trump to get those messages across.
“And even when he speaks he talks about how he’s been wronged and how he deserves or should be back in there because he was done wrong.
“Not because he has great ideas or more ideas or something new, a new path to take us down, it’s almost as though he wants to get back in just to show them that they should never have let him out the first time.
“And I think the office of the presidency is much larger than Donald Trump’s ego.
“Having Republicans back in the White House is far more important than getting retribution for all that has happened to Donald Trump.
“The presidency and the path that the presidency takes our country down is more important than Donald Trump.”
